We’ve built an AI-powered assistant called KnowaChat that helps you find the perfect tradesperson for the work you need to get done.
Start by telling it what you need, and it will ask a few questions about the job to find the most qualified, trustworthy, and local tradespeople for you. You’ll have your recommendations in seconds, and you can get their contact details to reach out and compare pricing or organise the work.
What makes it different to other online trade directories?
We’ve been there, confused about what kind of tradesperson you need, then scrolling through options on a website that all look the same, before you have to start phoning around, inevitably talking to people who aren’t interested in doing the job, and wasting a lot of time in the process.
DoyouKnowa is built with a focus on simplicity and ease. Where other platforms expect a base level of industry knowledge and an investment of your time, all you need for DoyouKnowa is to know what work you need doing, and a minute or two spare.
How many recommendations do you get?
After KnowaChat takes the details of your job, it uses an AI-powered scoring system to search through our database of local tradespeople to bring you the top 3 matches.
Ultimately, the decision of who to use should always be yours. By giving you the 3 highest-scoring matches, you have the opportunity to compare and see who is the best fit for you before inviting them into your home to do the work.
How do I know I can trust the people you suggest?
Building trust is a core part of our ethos at DoyouKnowa. For a tradesperson to complete their registration, they have to share all of their current certifications and insurances to prove they are qualified to do the work they say they can.
This is manually checked and kept up to date by our team, who have the industry expertise to know the specific qualifications required by different trades.
What area does DoyouKnowa cover?
Our focus is to provide a way to find the best local tradespeople as easily and quickly as possible.
At launch, DoyouKnowa will cover Berkshire and the surrounding counties. As we grow, more tradespeople join, and more people learn about the platform, we will be able to expand the areas we cover.
