1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DoyouKnowa (“DYKA”) platform. DYKA is a registered company in England and provides an online matchmaking service that connects clients with suitable tradespeople.

Our registered address is Forest House Office, 3 – 5 Horndean Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, United Kingdom, RG12 0XQ. Our registered company number is 16439623.

By using the DYKA platform, you agree to these Terms.

Definitions:
– “Client”: an individual seeking a tradesperson for a job or project.
– “Tradesperson or Tradespeople”: a professional offering services via DYKA.
– “Service”: the DYKA platform and any associated tools or communications.
– “Platform”: the website or system used to provide DYKA’s services.
2. Use of the Platform
DYKA uses AI tools (including OpenAI and AI Engine Pro) to automatically match Clients with suitable Tradespeople based on the job description provided. The Platform is free for Clients. Tradespeople are required to register, undergo vetting, and maintain a paid subscription.

Users agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information at all times.
The platform is not intended to be used by anyone under the age of 18 years old. By using the platform, you warrant and accept that you are at least 18 years of age.
3. Account Registration
All users must provide accurate and current information during registration. Tradespeople will undergo a vetting process that may include verification of referrals, proof of past work, and certification checks.

Tradespeople must maintain all relevant licenses and insurances to use the Platform.
4. Fees and Payments
Tradespeople are charged a monthly subscription of £72, payable via Stripe. This fee grants access to the matching service. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and will take effect 30 days after receipt.

There are no fees for Clients for using the DYKA platform.
Any quote or pricing provided by Tradespeople is not offered by DYKA. DYKA is not a party to any contracts and pricing agreed between a client and tradesperson.
5. Matching Process and Communication
Clients are automatically matched with Tradespeople through DYKA’s AI systems. Once matched, Clients may contact Tradespeople directly via phone, or email.

Clients will receive an email request to leave a rating and review of the Tradesperson after the job is completed.
Clients are responsible for evaluating the tradesperson and the services they offer.
6. User Content and Data
Clients may upload photos and job descriptions when submitting their request. This information, along with their name, email, and postcode, is stored for 12 months for the purposes of job matching and quality assurance.

DYKA complies with applicable data protection laws and will never sell user data.
7. Responsibilities and Disclaimers
DYKA acts solely as a facilitator and is not responsible for the quality of work performed, any damages, theft, or disputes arising between Clients and Tradespeople.

Tradespeople are solely responsible for maintaining valid qualifications and insurance coverage.

Clients and Tradespeople agree to hold DYKA harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from interactions on the Platform.
Tradespeople are responsible for ensuring the security of any device used to sign into their accounts. If you believe someone has accessed the platform withyou your authorization or is attempting to impersonate you, you should notify DYKA immediately by contacting [email protected].
8. Suspension and Termination
DYKA reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for breach of these Terms, including misconduct or poor conduct reported by Clients.

Subscriptions are non-refundable once initiated.
9. Limitation of Liability
DYKA makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Platform. DYKA is not liable for any loss of data, business, revenue, or damages resulting from the use of the Platform.
We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available or be uninterrupted. DYKA may need to update the platform from time to time or perform emergency maintenance. This may result in the platform being unavailable during this period.
We might also change or remove certain functions but if we do that, we will ensure that the platform still meets the description of it that was provided to you at the time you downloaded the platform
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11. Intellectual Property
Any and all rights contained within the platform and its content, including but not limited to, the platform’s design, text, graphics, images, logos, data, software, and source codes connected with the platform shall remain DYKA’s exclusive property.
All trademarks, logos and design aspects of the platform are protected trademarks of ours. The platform may also use third-party trademarks that are the property of the respective owner.
DYKA owns all rights in the platform and that your use of the platform adheres to the following:
• You are not allowed to disassemble or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
• You are not allowed to reproduce, modify or edit the platform in any way without prior written consent.
• You are not allowed to copy the platform.
12. Amendments
DYKA may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to users via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
